Anchors give you a way to link to specific text in your content. Before we can set an anchor we first need to create the anchor from text.

To create your anchor highlight the specific text to be used then select the Hyperlink Manager.

From the Hyperlink Manager select the Anchor Tab and type in the name of your anchor and select OK.



Now we need to create our link to the anchor. Highlight the text you would like as the link and select the Hyperlink Manager again. From the Existing Anchor drop down select the anchor you would like to link to.


Clicking on the link will now take your visitor to the specific anchor.

Anchors will only work within your exisiting document and can not be used from page to page.
