Sometimes you may want a menu item to open a file or a document. You can acheive this when adding a page or by editing the page settings (under the "Page Functions" menu)

To link a page to a file expand the "Advanced" section in the page settings.

Down towards the bottom of the page you will now see a "Link URL" setting. Select the "File (A File on Your Site)"

The page will refresh and you will now be able to navigate the folders of your site and upload or select an exisiting file.

Important! Remember to keep your files organized. Documents must be in the "docs" folder or subfolders, images in the "Images" folders or subfolders etc.

Once you have your file selected or uploaded select "Update". Your menu link will now open the chosen file when selected.

If you need to edit the page to change the link you must access the page through the Admin > Pages area of the Administrator menu and make your changes there by selecting the page and then clicking on the "Pencil".
