  • Log into your site as the Administrator
  • Navigate to Admin > Newsletters


  • Select the roles you would like to send the newsletter to.
    • Add any additional email addresses to the list box. Be sure to separate each address with a semi colon;
      • Helpful Hint: Before you send out your newsletter to all of the intended recipients, only put a check mark in the Administrators box. This will give you an opportunity to review the email as it will be received by your target audience.




  • Add a subject
  • Compose your message. The message here can be your complete newsletter. If your news letter is going to be an attachment the text here can simply be a description of the attachment.




  • IMPORTANT! Expand the Advanced Settings dialog.
  • If you are sending an attachment you may add it here. You can upload your document directly from this page.




  • Select the priority of your message.
  • Leave the send method as the default setting. This will send a personalized message to each recipient.
  • IMPORTANT! Select the Synchronous Send Action if you are sending thousands of emails. You can leave the default Asynchronous if you are sending less a thousand.

  • Select “Send Email”
  • A message indicating the messages have been sent will appear at the top of the page.




  • As the administrator you will also receive a confirming email informing you of the number of emails that have been sent and when the operation was completed.
  • If you used the “Helpful Hint” above, simply go back, populate the check boxes for the target roles, add you email list and select “Send Message” once more.
  • You’re done! Your message has been sent.

This tutorial is excellent - accurate and easy to use.
The newsletter system itself is fantastic!  Worth most of the cost of a year's subscription all by itself when compared to buying and learning mass e-mail software.  Plus it is all web-based and can be done from anywhere on the Internet.  This stuff is great!
