Over the next several weeks we will be implementing
Sender Policy Framework (SPF)
for all accounts on our Mdaemon mail server. This is an important step in our fight against spam. SPF confirms that a sender is really who they say they are before allowing mail to be sent and prevents spoofing. Follow the above link to learn more about SPF and how it works.
Each domain administrator will be contacted with instructions on how to prepare for the SPF policy. The only users impacted will be those that are required to use an outgoing mail server other than the Icthus Technologies mail server. For those users it will be necessary for them to send us an email so we can identify the provider they use to send their mail.
