IcthusTech.com is now running 4.5.5! After a day of testing we will begin the upgrade process for other installations.

Some of the changes in 4.5.5 are:

A new editor theme "Office 2003" offers a more consolidated toolbar and a cleaner look.

All of the same functions are there, some of the icons have changed slightly.

The other new feature is SSL support. This feature will help us prepare for the new "Premium" package we are working on that will allow member and student management in a secure environment. More on this about September or October.

The bulk of this release however is for stabilization and minor bug fixes. The most important being new user registration emails will now contain ALL of the user information and not just an email address!

Content Publisher Changes

We will also be making some minor changes to the Content Publisher during the upgrade. The major enhancements there will be the ability for module editors (not content creators) to specify or change authors. We can also now filter publisher instance by author instead of only by category. These enhancements will help prepare the proper RSS feeds to be used in conjunction with the next thing on the list, which will be announced August 1st!
